Finger jointing

Cross-cuts of the same quality and different lengths are joined in an infinite strand and pressed into each other, using finger joint profiles on the ends, that are glued together with no contact. A flying saw at the exit of the finger jointing line trims the glulam lamellae to the required size without interrupting the feed rate. Details ...
